1. Concerning the crime of genocide, the participants, referring to the definition contained in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, recommend avoiding speculations of a political nature and not vulgarizing this crime against humanity.
١ - فيما يتعلق بجريمة إبادة اﻷجناس، يوصي المشتركون، بعد أن أشاروا إلى التعريف الوارد في اتفاقية منع جريمة إبادة اﻷجناس وقمعها، بتجنب مزايدات السياسيين وعدم التهوين من شأن هذه الجريمة ضد اﻹنسانية.

a. The crimes against humanity specified in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide adopted on 9 December 1948 by the General Assembly of the United Nations;
أ - الجرائم ضد الإنسانية المحددة في اتفاقية منع جريمة الإبادة الجماعية والمعاقبة عليها، التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في 9 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948.

The following shall not be considered political offences: acts of terrorism; crimes against humanity as set forth in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly; or an attack on the life of a head of State or any member of his family.
لا تعتبر الجرائم التالية جرائم سياسية: الأعمال الإرهابية؛ والجرائم ضد الإنسانية على النحو الوارد في اتفاقية منع جريمة الإبادة الجماعية والمعاقبة عليهــا، التي اعتمدتهــا الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة؛ واغتيال رئيس دولة أو أي فرد من أسرته.

The very act of the expulsion of the total population from the area can be characterized as the crime of genocide as defined in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948), to which Croatia is a party.

5. With regard to article 19, his delegation believed that the crime of genocide should be included in the draft Code of Crimes and should be defined on the basis of the widely accepted definition contained in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

17. Her country was among those which had resorted to the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice during the Decade: it had sought a judgement regarding breaches of the customary rules of international law, embodied in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, that had been committed by the forces of a neighbouring country in Croatian territory.

That principle was established in the two Vienna Conventions on diplomatic and consular relations of 1961 and 1963 and in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons, including Diplomatic Agents, as well as in several General Assembly resolutions.
وقد تم إرساء هذا المبدأ في اتفاقيتي فيينا للعلاقات القنصلية والدبلوماسية لعامي ١٩٦١ و ١٩٦٣ وفي اتفاقية منع الجرائم المرتكبة ضد اﻷشخاص المتمتعين بحماية دولية، بمن فيهم الموظفون الدبلوماسيون والمعاقبة عليها.
