This thematic report contains information on, among other things, the implementation of article 44 of the Convention by States parties under review in the first and second years of the first cycle of the Review Mechanism.

They expressed satisfaction with the participation of their countries in the first and second years of the first cycle of the Mechanism for the Review of Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, in their capacity as States under review or as reviewing States.

The present note contains information on technical assistance needs identified in the country reviews for the implementation of chapters III and IV of the Convention by States parties under review in the first and second years of the first cycle of the Review Mechanism.
3- وتحتوي هذه المذكّرة على معلومات عن الاحتياجات من المساعدة التقنية المستبانة من خلال الاستعراضات القُطرية بشأن تنفيذ الدولِ الأطراف المستعرَضة الفصلين الثالث والرابع من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد في السنتين الأولى والثانية من الدورة الأولى لآلية الاستعراض.

The present report is based on information included in the review reports of 44 States parties under review in the first and second years of the first cycle of the Review Mechanism, whose review reports had been completed, or were close to completion, as at 1 September 2013.
ويستند هذا التقرير إلى المعلومات الواردة في تقارير الاستعراض الخاصة بأربع وأربعين دولة من الدول الأطراف المستعرَضة في السنتين الأولى والثانية من الدورة الأولى لآلية الاستعراض، التي كانت تقارير استعراضها قد اكتملت أو شارفت على الاكتمال في 1 أيلول/سبتمبر 2013.
