Ms. Ramoutar (Vice Chairman of the Committee), presenting draft resolution A/C.6/58/L.25, said that the paragraphs of the preamble were very similar to those of the resolution approved in the previous session, apart from the sixth and seventh paragraphs which referred to the initiative to revitalize the debate on the Report of the International Law Commission (ILC) in the Sixth Committee.

The contribution of the Republic of China on Taiwan to assisting the least developed countries should be commended, and its participation in the previous session of the World Health Assembly augurs well for the positive evolution of this country's contribution to the life of the international community.
إن مساهمة جمهورية الصين (تايوان) في مساعدة البلدان الأقل نموا أمر يستحق الإشادة، كما أن مشاركتها في الدورة الماضية لجمعية الصحة العالمية تبشر بخير فيما يتعلق بالتطور الإيجابي لمساهمة ذلك البلد في حياة المجتمع الدولي.
