Water supply system in the RC is being continually developed; in accordance with objectives from the Strategy of the Government programmes for the period from 2011 to 2013, the degree of population supplied from public water supply system will increase from current average of 76% to average of 85-90%, in accordance with hygienic and sanitary needs.

4. in the RC, as at 10 January 2011, there were 531,506 persons with disabilities registered, of which 318,169 males (59.9%) and 213,337 females (40.1%), which makes approximately 12% of the total population of the RC.

51. With the aim to encourage awareness-raising about the obligation to ensure accessibility of public facilities, the MFVAIS in cooperation with UNDP launched the initiative for signing the Charter on accessibility of public spaces to persons with disabilities, that was in the period from September 2009 to March 2011 signed by mayors of 93 towns, of the total of 127 towns in the RC, and the project is still going on.
51- وحتى يتسنى الحث على إذكاء الوعي بشأن وجوب ضمان إمكانية الوصول إلى المرافق العامة، أطلقت وزارة الأسرة وشؤون المحاربين القدماء والتضامن بين الأجيال بالتعاون مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي مبادرة لتوقيع ميثاق متعلق بإمكانية وصول الأشخاص المعاقين إلى الأماكن العامة وقعها رؤساء 93 بلدية من أصل 127 بلدية في جمهورية كرواتيا من أيلول/سبتمبر 2009 إلى آذار/مارس 2011، وما زال هذا المشروع مستمراً.

Currently in the RC there are 12 social welfare institutions for children and youth with developmental difficulties, which, in addition to their regular activities, also conduct programmes of primary and secondary education. (Tables 3 - 9 in annex II.)
وتوجد حالياً في جمهورية كرواتيا 12 مؤسسة للرعاية الاجتماعية تعنى بالأطفال والشباب الذين يعانون من صعوبات في النمو، وهي تنفذ أيضاً برامج للتعليم الابتدائي والثانوي، بالإضافة إلى نشاطاتها العادية. (الجدولان 3-9 في المرفق الثاني).

184. According to the database of employed persons with disabilities, in the RC there are 12,032 employed (employed and temporarily unfit for work) persons with disabilities of which 62% are men and 38% women.
184- ويوجد في جمهورية كرواتيا 032 12 من الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العاملين (العاملين وغير المؤهلين للعمل مؤقتاً) وفقاً لقاعدة بيانات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العاملين، ومنهم 62 في المائة من الرجال و38 في المائة من النساء.

190. In accordance with provisions of the Accession Partnership, the GRC and the European Commission signed the Joint Memorandum on Social Inclusion of the Republic of Croatia (JIM, 2007) and Joint Assessment of the Employment Policy Priorities (JAP, 2008), by adoption of which the new cycle of active employment measures in the RC was initiated.

The role of the Commission for the Protection and Promotion of Patients' Rights with the MHSW is to monitor the implementation of patients' rights realisation, the work of the commissions of RSAUs, to give opinions, recommendations and propositions to competent bodies and to propose taking measures for the establishment of the full system of the protection and promotion of patients' rights in the RC.
95- ويتجلى دور لجنة حماية وتعزيز حقوق المرضى التابعة لوزارة الصحة والرعاية الاجتماعية في مراقبة تنفيذ إعمال حقوق المرضى، ومراقبة عمل لجان وحدات الإدارة الذاتية الإقليمية، وإبلاغ الآراء والتوصيات والمقترحات إلى الهيئات المختصة، واقتراح اتخاذ التدابير لإنشاء نظام كامل لحماية وتعزيز حقوق المرضى في جمهورية كرواتيا.

107. With the aim to intensify the reform processes of transformation and deinstitutionalisation, the National Plan for Deinstitutionalisation and Transformation of Social Welfare Institutions and Other Legal Persons Providing Social Welfare in the RC 2011-2018 was adopted, which represents a basis for planning the network of institutions and activities of social welfare.
107- وقد اعتمدت الخطة الوطنية لتوفير الرعاية خارج المؤسسات وتعديل مؤسسات الرعاية الاجتماعية وباقي الأشخاص الاعتباريين الذين يقدمون الرعاية الاجتماعية في جمهورية كرواتيا 2011-2018، بهدف تكثيف عمليات الإصلاح وتوفير الرعاية خارج المؤسسات، مما يمثل أساساً للتخطيط لشبكة من المؤسسات وأنشطة الرعاية الاجتماعية.
