On this basis, the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls upon Israel -- the only State in the region that has not yet adhered to the NPT -- to take the necessary practical steps as urgently as possible to adhere to that Treaty in accordance with the relevant resolutions adopted by the General Assembly and Security Council.

12. These facts were acknowledged by the 2000 Review Conference that welcomed the accession to the Treaty by all the Arab States, and stressed the importance of accession by Israel, it being the only State in the region that has not done so.
12 - وهذه الحقائق أقرها مؤتمر استعراض المعاهدة لعام 2000 الذي رحب بانضمام جميع الدول العربية إلى المعاهدة وشدد على أهمية انضمام إسرائيل كونها الدولة الوحيدة في المنطقة التي لم تقم بذلك.

2. In the light of the international undertaking to implement that resolution, Arab States that had not, prior to 1995, acceded to the Treaty, became Parties thereto. Israel, however, did not become a Party, leaving it as the only State in the region that has not acceded, and refuses to place its nuclear facilities under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) comprehensive safeguards system.
2 - وفي ضوء الالتزام الدولي بتنفيذ هذا القرار انضمت باقي الدول العربية التي لم تكن قد انضمت حتى عام 1995 إلي معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية، ومع ذلك لم تنضم إسرائيل للمعاهدة، لتبقى إسرائيل الدولة الوحيدة في المنطقة التي لم تنضم إلى المعاهدة، رافضة إخضاع منشآتها النووية كافة إلى نظام الضمانات الشامل التابع للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.

Israel is the only country in the region that has not done so. It should not be exempt from international pressure, so as to make the Middle East, including the Arabian Gulf, a nuclear-free zone.

:: Pressure must be brought to bear on Israel to become a non-nuclear-weapon State party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, by specifically naming it in the report, as was done in Security Council resolution 487 (1981): there can be no peace or security in the Middle East while Israel possesses nuclear weapons and remains the only State in the region that has not adhered to the Treaty.

In this regard, we demand that Israel, the only country in the region that has not joined the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) or declared its intention to do so, renounce the possession of nuclear weapons and to place all its nuclear facilities under International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards.
وفي هذا الصدد نطالب إسرائيل، البلد الوحيد في المنطقة الذي لم ينضم إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية أو يعلن عن عزمه على الانضمام إلى المعاهدة، أن تتخلى عن امتلاك الأسلحة النووية وأن تضع جميع مرافقها النووية تحت ضمانات الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.

(a) That " Israel " , the only State in the region that has not signed the Treaty, should accede to it, should place its nuclear facilities under the IAEA full-scope safeguards regime and should dismantle its arsenal of weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons, in accordance with Security Council resolution 487 (1981);
(أ) انضمام (إسرائيل) الطرف الوحيد في المنطقة الذي لم ينضم إلى معاهدة عدم الانتشار، وإخضاع منشآتها النووية لنظام الضمانات الشامل للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، وإزالة مخزونها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل وفي مقدمتها الأسلحة النووية تنفيذا لقرار مجلس الأمن 487 (1981)؛

Demanded that Israel, the only country in the region that has not joined the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons or declared its intention to do so renounce its possession of nuclear weapons, accede to the Treaty without delay, place promptly all its nuclear facilities under IAEA full-scope safeguards, and conduct its nuclear-related activities in conformity with the non-proliferation regime.
مطالبة إسرائيل، البلد الوحيد في المنطقة الذي لم ينضم إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية أو يعلن عن نيته الانضمام إليها، بالتخلي عما تمتلكه من أسلحة نووية والانضمام إلى المعاهدة دون تأخير، والقيام فورا بإخضاع كل منشآتها النووية إلى الضمانات الشاملة للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، والاضطلاع بأنشطتها ذات الصلة بالمجال النووي وفقا لنظــام عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية.

Regrettably, Israel is the only State in the region that has not yet responded positively to the appeal made in that resolution to accede to the Treaty.
وللأسف ما زالت إسرائيل الدولة الوحيدة في المنطقة لم تتجاوب مع مطلب القرار بالانضمام إلى المعاهدة.
