10- فيما يخص الفترة المستعرضة (منذ الدورة التاسعة للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية إلى الآن)، ركّزت الأمانة والآلية العالمية بشكل أكبر على عملية المواءمة، مع إيلاء اهتمام خاص لمسألة بناء القدرات المؤسسية والتقنية لدعم عملية المواءمة من خلال ما يلي:

Encourages Parties and relevant United Nations agencies and other organizations to focus on institutional and technical capacity-building activities that are specific to the clean development mechanism consistent with decision 29/CMP.1, with a view to enhancing the capacities of developing countries, in particular those regions and countries with few or no project activities;
2- يشجِّع الأطراف ووكالات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة والمنظمات الأخرى على التركيز على أنشطة بناء القدرات المؤسسية والتقنية التي تتصل على وجه التحديد بآلية التنمية النظيفة بما يتفق مع المقرر 29/م أإ-1، بقصد تدعيم قدرات البلدان النامية، بما في ذلك المناطق والبلدان التي توجد بها قلّة من أنشطة المشاريع أو لا توجد بها أي أنشطة من هذا القبيل؛
