These are supplemented by the Rules of Court and Practice Directions and by the resolution concerning the internal judicial practice of the Court.

The draft Rules of the Tribunal recognize the requirement for a resolution to be formulated by the Tribunal on its internal judicial practice in a manner consistent with the practice of the International Court of Justice.
يقر مشروع لائحة المحكمة بالحاجة الى قرار تصوغه المحكمة بشأن ممارستها القضائية الداخلية بطريقة تتمشى مع الممارسة التي تتبعها محكمة العدل الدولية.

This followed almost immediately after the conclusion of the fourth session of the Tribunal and the adoption of its Rules, the Resolution on internal judicial Practice and the Guidelines concerning the Preparation and Presentation of Cases before the Tribunal.

The President of the Meeting noted that States needed to be familiar with the Tribunal's internal judicial practice and the guidelines for the preparation and submission of cases before the Tribunal, in order to avail themselves of its dispute settlement services.

2. Adoption of the Resolution on the internal judicial Practice of the Tribunal, which is to set out in detail the practices to be followed by the Tribunal in the discharge of its judicial function.

It was also decided to approve expenditures for eight weeks of meetings of the Tribunal in 1998 to enable it to consider and adopt the internal judicial Practice of the Tribunal, the rules and practice of its chambers and the guidelines for potential parties before the Tribunal.

43. The Tribunal at its fourth session also considered the resolution on the internal judicial practice pursuant to article 40 of the Rules of the Tribunal.

Once the case had been heard, the Court focused on producing a judgment as rapidly as was compatible with the interests of justice, and in accordance with the rules established by the Resolution on the internal judicial Practice of the Court, which was structured so as to permit each member to participate in the deliberative process on an equal footing.
