Urges the Government of Bahrain to comply with applicable international human rights standards and to ratify the International Covenants on Human Rights and to take effective domestic measures of implementation and enforcement with regard to its international obligations in the field of human rights;

I. RATIFICATION BY STATES OF THE International Covenants on Human Rights and OTHER

Mindful that Iraq is a party to the International Covenants on Human Rights and to other international human rights instruments,
وإذ تضع في اعتبارها أن العراق طرف في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان وفي غيرهما من الصكوك الدولية المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان،

As examined in the general comment, the right to adequate housing could be viewed in isolation from other human rights contained in the two International Covenants on Human Rights and other applicable international instruments.

Furthermore, although States such as France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and others were parties to the International Covenants on Human Rights and observers or members of the Human Rights Council, their trade strategies did not take into account human rights.

I. RATIFICATION BY STATES OF THE International Covenants on Human Rights and OTHER CONVENTIONS CONTAINING THE HUMAN RIGHTS AND FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS PROCLAIMED IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS
أولاً- تصديق الدول على العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان وغيرهما من الاتفاقيات التي تشتمل على حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية المُعلنة في الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان

5. The fundamental rights and freedoms proclaimed in the Universal Declaration have been reaffirmed in the International Covenants on Human Rights and in a number of other international conventions.
5- وهذه الحقوق والحريات الأساسية المُعلنة في الإعلان العالمي قد أُعيد تأكيدها في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان وفي عدد من الاتفاقيات الدولية الأخرى.

All States have signed and ratified the International Covenants on Human Rights and the four principal human rights conventions;
- أن تقوم جميع الدول بالتوقيع والتصديق على العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان وعلى الاتفاقيات الرئيسية الأربع المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان؛

This work of the working group will contribute to ensuring that, within the next few years, the appeal of the Secretary-General and the High Commissioner for Human Rights will be heeded and many States will sign and ratify the two International Covenants on Human Rights and the principal United Nations conventions in this field.

2. Urges the Government of Bahrain to comply with applicable international human rights standards and to ratify the International Covenants on Human Rights and the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment;
٢- تحث حكومة البحرين على الامتثال للمعايير الدولية لحقوق اﻹنسان الواجبة التطبيق وعلى التصديق على العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان وعلى اتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة؛

Mindful that Iraq is a party to the International Covenants on Human Rights and to other international human rights instruments,
وإذ تضع في اعتبارها أن العراق طرف في العهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الانسان وغير ذلك من الصكوك الولية المتعلقة بحقوق اﻹنسان،

She also expressed the hope that Tuvalu would soon accede to the International Covenants on Human Rights and the Optional Protocol.
