(b) The Child Protection Law (Act No. 5395), which entered into force on 3 July 2005, aimed at integrating international standards into the procedures and principles regarding children in the need of protection;

5. 5- يؤكد مجدداً كذلك دعوة الجمعية العامة لحكومة إسرائيل لإجراء تحقيقات مستقلة وذات مصداقية بما يتفق مع المعايير الدولية في الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الإنساني الدولي والقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان التي أوردتها بعثة تقصي الحقائق في تقريرها، بهدف ضمان المساءلة والعدالة؛

6. Reiterates the urging by the General Assembly for the conduct by the Palestinian side of investigations that are independent, credible and in conformity with international standards into the serious violations of international humanitarian and international human rights law reported by the Fact-Finding Mission, with a view to ensuring accountability and justice;
6- يؤكد مجدداً ما قامت به الجمعية العامة من حث للجانب الفلسطيني على إجراء تحقيقات مستقلة وذات مصداقية بما يتفق مع المعايير الدولية في الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الإنساني الدولي والقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان التي أوردتها بعثة تقصي الحقائق في تقريرها، بهدف ضمان المساءلة والعدالة؛

The resolution just adopted, just as the previous resolution did in its operative paragraphs 3 and 4, once again urges the Israeli Government and the Palestinian Authority to carry out investigations that are independent, credible and in conformity with international standards into the alleged violations of international humanitarian law.
