The Supreme Islamic Council of Afghanistan was convened at Herat from 20 to 25 July 1994, with the participation of Afghan personalities as follows:

The Supreme Islamic Council adopted the following resolution on 25 July 1994:
واتخذ المجلس اﻹسلامي اﻷعلى في ٥٢ تموز/يوليه ٤٩٩١، القرار التالي:

Article 11: These decisions of the Supreme Islamic Council taken by the Governors, Commanders, Ulema, cultural and political personalities of the country, express the demands and will of the entire Muslim and mujahid nation of Afghanistan.
المادة ١١: هذه القرارات الصادرة عن المجلس اﻹسلامي اﻷعلى التي اتخذها المحافظون، والقادة، والعلماء، والشخصيات السياسية في هذا البلد، تعبر عن مطالب وإرادة أمﱠـة أفغانستان المسلمة المجاهدة.

The Islamic State of Afghanistan expected that the presidential statement would also mention and support the important and historic decisions of the Supreme Islamic Council towards solving the present crisis.
وكانت دولة أفغانستان الاسلامية تتوقع أن يشير البيان الرئاسى أيضا الى القرارات الهامة والتاريخية التي اتخذها المجلس اﻹسلامي اﻷعلى في سبيل حل اﻷزمة الراهنة، وأن يؤيد تلك القرارات.

The founding meeting of the Islamic Council in Finland took place in November 2006.
وانعقد الاجتماع التأسيسي للمجلس الإسلامي في فنلندا في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006.

481. On 10 July, the Higher Islamic Council held an emergency session to discuss the disfigurement of the Bab Al Rahma cemetery in Jerusalem.

In spite of some positive and reassuring elements contained in the Security Council presidential statement, it is regrettable to note that the statement failed to address some other important matters and developments, among them the convening of the Herat Supreme Islamic Council in which authoritative representatives of the nation participated.

58. He also appreciated the fact that the Special Rapporteur had mentioned the meeting of the Supreme Islamic Council held on 25 July 1994 in Herat.

57. Mr. Ismail Khan informed the Special Rapporteur about the preparations for and deliberations of the Supreme Islamic Council which was held in Herat from 20 to 25 July 1994.
٥٧ - وأبلغ السيد اسماعيل خان المقرر الخاص عن اﻷعمال التحضيرية لاجتماع المجلس اﻹسلامي اﻷعلى ومداولاته التي جرت في حيرات في الفترة من ٢٠ إلى ٢٥ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤.

قرار اتخذه المجلس اﻹسلامي اﻷعلى في ٢٥ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤ في الاجتماع المعقــود في حيرات بأفغانستــان في أزاد سنة ١٣٧٣ هجرية شمسية )٢٥ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٤(

The Islamic State of Afghanistan, while appreciating the efforts of the United Nations, declares its readiness to extend every possible assistance and cooperation to the United Nations Peace Programme which is directed towards the convening of a Loya Jirga (Grand National Assembly) which is in total similarity with the outcome of the Supreme Islamic Council recently held in Herat.
وتقديرا من دولة أفغانستان اﻹسلامية للجهود التي تبذلها اﻷمم المتحدة تُعلن استعدادها لتقديم كل ما يمكنها بذله من المساعدة والتعاون الى برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة لتحقيق السلم، الذي يهدف الى عقد جمعية وطنية جامعة )لويا جيرغا(، وهو ما يتمشى تماما مع النتائج التي توصل اليها المجلس اﻹسلامي اﻷعلى في اجتماعه المعقود مؤخرا في هيرات.

After the Israeli Supreme Court approved the building of a so-called museum of tolerance on the remaining land of this historic Islamic graveyard, Israeli bulldozers destroyed historic graves in the Maman Allah cemetery and removed all remaining features thereof, and destroyed the Supreme Islamic Council building that was on the same site.
فقد قامت الجرافات الإسرائيلية بهدم القبور التاريخية في مقبرة " مأمن الله " وإزالة ما تبقى من معالمها، وهدم العمارة الوقفية التابعة للمجلس الإسلامي الأعلى الواقعة على نفس القطعة، وذلك بعد مصادقة المحكمة العليا الإسرائيلية على بناء ما يدعى " متحف التسامح " على ما تبقى من أراض تلك المقبرة الإسلامية والتاريخية.
