9. The Security Council authorized UNOCI to operate under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, to use all necessary means to carry out its mandate, within its capabilities and its areas of deployment.
9 - وأذن مجلس الأمن لعملية الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار بأن تعمل بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وأن تستخدم كافة الوسائل اللازمة للاضطلاع بولايتها، في حدود قدراتها ومناطق انتشارها.

In this regard, it is worth noting that Security Council resolution 1739 (2007) provides that UNOCI, without prejudice to the responsibility of the Government of Côte d'Ivoire, shall protect civilians under imminent threat of physical violence, within its capabilities and its areas of deployment.
وفي هذا الصدد، تجدر الإشارة إلى أن قرار مجلس الأمن 1739 (2007) ينص على أن تقوم عملية الأمم المتحدة في كوت ديفوار، دون المساس بمسؤولية حكومة كوت ديفوار، بتوفير الحماية للمدنيين الذين يتهددهم خطر التعرض الوشيك للعنف البدني، وذلك في حدود قدراتها وفي مناطق انتشارها.

The UNOCI Formed Police Unit will continue to protect United Nations personnel, ensure security and freedom of movement of United Nations personnel and protect civilians under imminent threat of physical violence, within its capabilities and its areas of deployment.
وستواصل وحدة الشرطة المشكلة التابعة للعملية حماية موظفي الأمم المتحدة وكفالة أمنهم وحرية تنقلهم، وحماية المدنيين الذين يحدق بهم تهديد وشيك بالعنف البدني، وذلك في حدود قدراتها ومناطق انتشارها.

75. The force would operate under robust rules of engagement with a mandate to use all necessary means to address threats to the implementation of its mandate, which would include protection of civilians under imminent threat of physical violence and protection of United Nations personnel from residual threats, within its capabilities and its areas of deployment.
75 - وستعمل القوة في إطار قواعد اشتباك مُحكمة بولاية تشمل استخدام جميع الوسائل الضرورية لمواجهة التهديدات التي تعترضها في تنفيذ ولايتها التي تشمل حماية المدنيين المعرضين لخطر العنف الجسدي الوشيك وحماية موظفي الأمم المتحدة من التهديدات المتبقية، في حدود قدراتها ومناطق انتشارها.
