Lastly, in response to question 23 on the list of issues (CCPR/C/69/L/KGZ), the Kyrgyz delegation had stated that there was no specific legislation to protect the rights of national minorities. Perhaps there had been a misunderstanding, since paragraph 521 of the report mentioned a bill on the protection of national minority rights.
