As the main policy actors, Member States, through their representatives, and the executive heads of the United Nations system organizations are responsible for the definition of the mandate, the allocation of necessary resources to support its implementation, and the identification of concrete measures within the organizations aimed at preserving language diversity and ensuring the provision of high-quality language-related goods and services.
