The Committee noted the action taken and urged the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to continue to take the necessary measures to eliminate and prevent torture.
وقد أحاطت اللجنة علما بالاجراءات المتخذة وحثت الجماهيرية العربية الليبية على مواصلة اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة للقضاء على التعذيب ومنعه.

The Islamic Republic of Iran encouraged the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to strengthen its efforts at the national and international levels to fulfil its commitments under international human rights law.
وحثت جمهورية إيران الإسلامية الجماهيرية العربية الليبية على تعزيز جهودها على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي للوفاء بالتزاماتها بموجب القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان.

The decision requested the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to submit, as a matter of urgency, a plan of action with time-specific benchmarks for returning the Party to compliance.

That resoluteness to disarm in a transparent, irreversible and verifiable manner, together with the commitment of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to accept enhanced inspections via the Additional Protocol and to respect fully all its disarmament obligations, were important steps reinforcing regional and international security.
