To support AMISOM logistical efforts, UNSOA provided heavy transport vehicles, including fire trucks and material-handling equipment, as well as armoured vehicles to protect VIPs and senior leaders, and also provided patrol boats to enable the Mission to conduct maritime surveillance and protective operations.
