The Economic Commission for Africa, which holds its sessions on a biennial basis, did not meet in 1998; however, the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the Conference of Ministers for Economic and Social Development and Planning met at Addis Ababa on 23 and 24 April 1998.
ولم تجتمع في عام ١٩٩٨ اللجنة الاقتصادية ﻷفريقيا، التي تعقد دوراتها مرة كل سنتين؛ بيد أن لجنة المتابعة الوزارية التابعة لمؤتمر الوزراء المسؤولين عن التنمية والتخطيط في المجالين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي اجتمعت في أديس أبابا يومي ٢٣ و ٢٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٨.

(d) As appropriate, briefing the General Assembly and other relevant United Nations bodies, as well as the Ministerial Council and the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the League of Arab States.
(د) تقديم إحاطة إعلامية حسب الاقتضاء، للجمعية العامة وهيئات الأمم المتحدة الأخرى ذات الصلة، فضلا عن المجلس الوزاري ولجنة المتابعة الوزارية وجامعة الدول العربية.

(c) As appropriate, the Joint Special Representative will brief the Security Council, the General Assembly and other relevant United Nations bodies, as well as the Ministerial Council and the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the League of Arab States.
(ج) العمل، حسب الاقتضاء، على إطلاع مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة وغيرهما من هيئات الأمم المتحدة المعنية، وكذلك المجلس الوزاري ولجنة المتابعة الوزارية التابعة لجامعة الدول العربية.

5. The proposed revisions will be reviewed by the ECA Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the Conference of Ministers responsible for economic and social development and planning in May 2002.

It also urged the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the 6th ICIM to prepare a draft information society charter and plan of action to be submitted on behalf of Member States at the second phase of the World Summit on Information Society.
كما حث لجنة المتابعة الوزارية المنبثقة عن الدورة السادسة للمؤتمر الإسلامي لوزراء الإعلام على إعداد مشروع ميثاق لمجتمع المعلومات وخطة عمل تُقّدم باسم الدول الأعضاء إلى المرحلة الثانية من القمة العالمية لمجتمع المعلومات.

6. The Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the Conference of Ministers responsible for Economic and Social Development and Planning of ECA reviewed the revisions proposed under this programme at its first meeting, on 24 April 1998.
٦ - وقد قامت لجنة المتابعة الوزارية لمؤتمر الوزراء المسؤولين عن التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والتخطيط للجنة الاقتصادية ﻷفريقيا باستعراض التنقيحات المقترحة في إطار هذا البرنامج في اجتماعها اﻷول، الذي عقد في ٢٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٨.

Recalling resolution MFC.1 of 5 May 2000, adopted by the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the Conference of Ministers responsible for Economic and Social Development of the Economic Commission for Africa, by which the Committee endorsed the proposed medium-term plan of the Economic Commission for Africa for the period 2002-2005,

Contribute to the resources of IPDIC programme by earmarking funds to finance the above two projects approved by the Ministerial Follow-up Committee for financing.

2. Urges the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the 6th ICIM to prepare, at its meeting provided for in item 3 of resolution 4/6-ICIM, a perspective charter for the information society, and a plan of action to be presented on behalf of Member States at the second phase of the World Summit on the Information Society (Tunis 2005).
2 - تحث لجنة المتابعة الوزارية المنبثقة عن الدورة السادسة للمؤتمر الإسلامي لوزراء الإعلام، في اجتماعها المنصوص عليه في البند 3 مــــن القرار 4/6 - ICIM، على إعداد رؤية ميثاق لمجتمع الإعلام، وخطة عمل تُقدَّم باسم الدول الأعضاء في المرحلة الثانية من القمة العالمية لمجتمع الإعلام (تونس 2005م).

Considering all the resolutions of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee issued from the 6th Session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM) held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, on 19-20 Jumad Al Akhir 1426H (10-11 March 2005);
وإذ تضع في الاعتبار كل القرارات والتوصيات الصادرة عن لجنة المتابعة الوزارية المنبثقة عن الدورة السادسة للمؤتمر الإسلامي لوزراء الإعلام التـي عقدت في القاهرة بجمهورية مصر العربية، يومي 19 و 20 جمادى الآخر 1426هـ (25 و 26 تموز/يوليه 2005م)،

15A.10 All the ministerial conferences and their preparatory committees of experts will meet for a total of eight days each, except for the Ministerial Follow-up Committee of the Conference of African Ministers responsible for Human Development and that of the African Ministers responsible for Sustainable Development and the Environment, which will meet for five days.
٥١ ألف - ٠١ وستعقد جميع المؤتمرات الوزارية واجتماعات لجان الخبراء التحضيرية التابعة لها لمدة تصل في مجموعها الى ثمانية أيام لكل منها، باستثناء لجان المتابعة الوزارية التابعة لمؤتمر الوزراء اﻷفارقة المسؤولين ولجنة المتابعة الوزارية التابعة لمؤتمر الوزراء اﻷفارقة المسؤولين عن التنمية المستدامة والبيئة التي ستجتمع لمدة خمسة أيام.

(ج) وسيعمل الممثل الخاص المشترك، حسب الاقتضاء، على تقديم إحاطة إلى مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة وغيرهما من هيئات الأمم المتحدة المعنية، وكذلك إلى المجلس الوزاري ولجنة المتابعة الوزارية التابعين لجامعة الدول العربية.
