They acknowledge the Appeal of Makkah issued by the International Islamic Conference for Dialogue, called by Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, and organized by the Muslim World League earlier in 2008.
وإذ يعبّر المشاركون عن شكرهم لنداء مكة المكرمة الصادر عن المؤتمر الإسلامي العالمي للحوار الذي دعا إليه خادم الحرمين الشريفين، الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز ونظمته رابطة العالم الإسلامي عام 2008م.

The Conference participants hope that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, will exert his efforts for holding this session as soon as possible. It will be a pleasure for them to take part in that session through a delegation that represents them and is selected by the Muslim World League.

As at 22 December 1994, the following non-governmental organizations responded to the invitation of the Secretary-General: the International Confederation of Midwives, Institute of International Law Justitia et Pace, International Institute of Humanitarian Law, International Organization for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, International Progress Organization, Muslim World League.
