Importantly, work would be undertaken to assist the development of a regional capacity for conflict prevention by supporting local actors, civil society and governmental agencies in building capacity for conflict analysis and transformation, and to assist national Governments and institutions to strengthen national capacity for conflict prevention and peacemaking, identifying priorities and possible areas of support.
