As can be noted from the information outlined above, continued efforts are being made to provide assistance to countries in need of addressing the proliferation of illicit weapons in their territories, as well as those in need of assistance in implementing the provisions of the Programme of Action to Prevent, Eradicate and Combat the Illicit Trade In Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects.
