The Assembly agreed that, on the basis of the work of the Subcommittee, the Committee at its 1996 session should consider all issues related to the possible convening of a third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, with a view to making a final recommendation to the General Assembly at that session of the Committee.

The Committee had agreed to continue constructively to discuss the question of the convening of a third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNISPACE).
٦١ - وقال إن اللجنة وافقت على مواصلة مناقشة عقد مؤتمر ثالث لﻷمم المتحدة معني باستكشاف الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في اﻷغراض السلمية بطريقة بناءة.

12. The Ministers noted that the General Assembly in its resolution 50/123 of 20 December 1995 recalled that at the end of the decade, a global review and appraisal of the implementation of the Programme of Action for the 1990s will be carried out and that the General Assembly will consider, at its fifty-second session, the holding of a third United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries.
٢١- ولاحظ الوزراء أن الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٠٥/٣٢١ المؤرخ في ٠٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٥٩٩١ قد ذكﱠرت بأنه سيجري في نهاية العقد استعراض وتقييم شاملان لتنفيذ برنامج العمل للتسعينات وأن الجمعية العامة ستنظر في دورتها الثانية والخمسين في عقد مؤتمر ثالث لﻷمم المتحدة معني بأقل البلدان نمواً.

The Committee also noted the informal paper entitled " Matters related to the possible holding of a third United Nations conference on the exploration and peaceful uses of outer space, report by the Secretariat, addendum, technical workshops " (A/AC.105/1995/CRP.7).

13. Recalls that at the end of the decade, a global review and appraisal of the implementation of the Programme of Action will be carried out, in accordance with paragraph 140 of the Programme of Action and operative paragraph 7 (c) of General Assembly resolution 45/206 regarding the consideration by the Assembly at its fifty-second session of the holding of a third United Nations conference on the least developed countries;
١٣ - تذكر بأنه سيجرى، في نهاية العقد، استعراض وتقييم شاملان لتنفيذ برنامج العمل، وفقا للفقرة ١٤٠ من برنامج العمل والفقرة ٧ )ج( من منطوق قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٥/٢٠٦ بشأن قيام الجمعية العامة، في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، بالنظر في عقد مؤتمر ثالث لﻷمم المتحدة معني بأقل البلدان النامية؛

13. His delegation welcomed the recent recommendation of the Trade and Development Board of the United Nations Conference of Trade and Development (UNCTAD) regarding the holding of a third United Nations conference on the least developed countries at the end of the current decade.
وقال إن وفده يرحب بالتوصية التي قدمها مؤخرا مجلس التجارة والتنمية التابع لمؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية )اﻷونكتاد( فيما يتعلق بعقد مؤتمر ثالث لﻷمم المتحدة معني بأقل البلدان نموا في نهاية العقد الحالي.

12. ٢١- ولاحظ الوزراء أن الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٠٥/٣٢١ المؤرخ في ٠٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٥٩٩١ قد ذكﱠرت بأنه سيجري في نهاية العقد استعراض وتقييم شاملان لتنفيذ برنامج العمل للتسعينات لصالح أقل البلدان نمواً وأن الجمعية العامة ستنظر في دورتها الثانية والخمسين في عقد مؤتمر ثالث لﻷمم المتحدة معني بأقل البلدان نمواً.

56. His Government supported the convening of a third United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries, and suggested that it should take place early in the year 2001.
٥٦ - وأعرب عن تأييد حكومته للدعوة إلى عقد مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة الثالث المعني بأقل البلدان نموا، واقترح عقده في بداية عام ٢٠٠١.

With respect to the holding of a third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, my delegation once again states its commitment to cooperate as best it can to ensure that it is successfully held in a developing country.
وفيما يتعلق بعقد مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة الثالث المعني باستكشاف الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في اﻷغراض السلمية، يعلـن وفـدي مـرة أخـرى التزامـه بالتعاون على أفضل نحو ممكن من أجل ضمان انعقاده بنجـاح فــي بلـد نـام.

My delegation wishes to emphasize the importance of the early convening of a third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, in accordance with the guidelines contained in operative paragraphs 22 and 23 of General Assembly resolution 48/39.
