Encourages the international community and the Government of Burundi to implement the various recommendations of the Plan of Action adopted by the Regional Conference on Assistance to Refugees, Returnees and Displaced Persons in the Great Lakes Region, held at Bujumbura from 15 to 17 February 1995;

8. Encourages the international community and the Government of Burundi to implement the various recommendations of the Plan of Action adopted by the Regional Conference of Great Lake Countries (Bujumbura, 12-17 February 1995), in order to reassure refugees and repatriated and displaced persons;
٨ - تشجع المجتمع الدولي وحكومة بوروندي على تنفيذ مختلف توصيات خطة العمل التي اعتمدها المؤتمر اﻹقليمي لبلدان البحيرات الكبرى )بوجومبورا، ١٢-١٧ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٥(، وذلك بغية تطمين اللاجئين واﻷشخاص العائدين إلى الوطن والمشردين؛

18. Reiterates that the Plan of Action adopted by the Regional Conference on Assistance to Refugees, Returnees and Displaced Persons in the Great Lakes Region, held at Bujumbura from 15 to 17 February 1995, as endorsed by the General Assembly in its resolution 50/149 of 21 December 1995, continues to be a viable framework for the resolution of the refugee and humanitarian problems in that region;
١٨ - تؤكد من جديد أن خطة العمل التي اعتمدها المؤتمر اﻹقليمي لتقديم المساعدة إلى اللاجئين والعائدين والمشردين في منطقة البحيرات الكبرى الذي عقد في بوجمبورا في الفترة من ١٥ إلى ١٧ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٥، والتي أيدتها الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٥٠/١٤٩ المؤرخ ٢١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٥، لا تزال تمثل إطارا صالحا لحل مشاكل اللاجئين والمشاكل اﻹنسانية في تلك المنطقة؛

It expected to conclude readmission agreements with Belarus and the Russian Federation, in accordance with the recommendations contained in the Programme of Action adopted by the Regional Conference to Address the Problems of Refugees, Displaced Persons, Other Forms of Involuntary Displacement and Returnees in the Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Relevant Neighbouring States, held in Geneva in May 1996.

Also welcomes the initiatives of the High Commissioner to implement General Assembly resolution 49/7, and endorses the Plan of Action adopted by the Regional Conference on Assistance to Refugees, Returnees and Displaced Persons in the Great Lakes Region, held at Bujumbura from 15 to 17 February 1995, as a framework for solution-oriented approaches to the humanitarian problems in the Great Lakes region;
٩ - ترحب أيضا بما اتخذته المفوضية من مبادرات لتنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/٧، وتؤيد خطة العمل التي اعتمدها المؤتمر اﻹقليمي لمساعدة اللاجئين والعائدين والمشردين في منطقة البحيرات الكبرى المعقود في بوجومبورا في الفترة من ١٥ إلى ١٧ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٥، باعتبارها إطارا لنهوج غايتها إيجاد حلول للمشاكل اﻹنسانية في تلك المنطقة؛

٩ - ترحب أيضا بما اتخذته المفوضة السامية من مبادرات لتنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة ٩٤/٧، وتؤيد خطة العمل التي اعتمدها المؤتمر اﻹقليمي لمساعدة اللاجئين والعائدين والمشردين في منطقة البحيرات الكبرى المعقود في بوجومبورا في الفترة من ٥١ إلى ٧١ شباط/فبراير ٥٩٩١، باعتبارها إطارا لنهج غايتها إيجاد حلول للمشاكل اﻹنسانية في تلك المنطقة؛

41. Mr. Zozulia (Ukraine) said that, while his delegation supported the principles and purposes enshrined in the Programme of Action adopted by the Regional Conference to Address the Problems of Refugees, Displaced Persons, Other Forms of Involuntary Displacement and Returnees in the Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Relevant Neighbouring States, it had been unable to join in sponsoring the draft resolution.
٤١ - السيد زوزوليا )أوكرانيا(: قال إن وفده يؤيد المبادئ واﻷهداف المكرسة في برنامج العمل الذي اعتمده المؤتمر اﻹقليمي لمعالجة مشاكل اللاجئين والمشردين وغير ذلك من أشكال التشريد والعائدين في بلدان رابطة الدول المستقلة والدول المجاورة ذات الصلة، ولكن لم يتمكن من الانضمام إلى مقدمي مشروع القرار.

Convinced of the necessity for the further strengthening of practical measures towards the implementation of the Programme of Action adopted by the Regional Conference to Address the Problems of Refugees, Displaced Persons, Other Forms of Involuntary Displacement and Returnees in the Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Relevant Neighbouring States,A/51/341 and Corr.1, annex, appendix.
واقتناعا منها بضرورة مواصلة تعزيز التدابير العملية الرامية إلى تنفيذ برنامج العمل الذي اعتمده المؤتمر اﻹقليمي لمعالجة مشاكل الﻵجئين والمشردين واﻷشكال اﻷخرى للتشريد القسري والعائدين في بلدان ـ )١( A/52/274 و Corr.1.
