In line with that decision, the Commission will consider at its second session, under agenda item 3, the question of coordination of activities in science and technology for development.

His delegation supported the inclusion of an item on coordination of activities in science and technology for development in the agenda of the third session of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (E/1995/31, chap. I, sect. B).

Having discussed the issue of the coordination of activities in science and technology for development, the members of the Commission recommended that such coordination be maximized in the Commission's substantive inter-sessional work by ensuring that that work was actively linked with the work of competent United Nations organs and agencies, as well as the work of other multilateral organizations.
وبعد مناقشة مسألة تنسيق اﻷنشطة في مجال تسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا ﻷغراض التنمية، أوصى أعضاء اللجنة بزيادة هذا التنسيق الى أقصى حد في اﻷنشطة الفنية التي تقوم بها اللجنة بين الدورات لضمان أن تتصل هذه اﻷعمال اتصالا فعالا مع أعمال هيئات ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة المختصة وكذلك أعمال المنظمات اﻷخرى المتعددة اﻷطراف.
