Part III of Annex B of the Convention describes the goal of reducing and ultimately eliminating the production and use of the PFOS substances listed there.

2. As set out in paragraph 6 of part II of Annex B of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties is required to evaluate the continued need for disease vector control at its first meeting and at least every three year thereafter.

The Secretariat will undertake, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, activities to improve the capacity of Parties to complete the questionnaire in order to fulfil their reporting requirements pursuant to paragraph 4 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention.

In paragraph 3 of decision INC-7/2, the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee requested the Secretariat, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, to develop a modified format for reporting by Parities that use DDT for disease vector control and a questionnaire for reporting on other information relevant to the evaluation of the continued need for disease vector control pursuant to paragraph 6 of part II of Annex B of the Convention.
4 - وفي الفقرة 3 من المقرر ل.ت.ح.د - 7/2، طلبت لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية إلى الأمانة، بالتعاون مع منظمة الصحة العالمية، تطوير استمارة معدلة للإبلاغ من جانب الأطراف التي تستخدم مادة الـ دي.دي.تي لمكافحة ناقلات الأمراض، واستبياناً للإبلاغ عن المعلومات الأخرى ذات الصلة بتقييم استمرار الحاجة إلى مكافحة ناقلات الأمراض وذلك بموجب الفقرة 6 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء للاتفاقية.

Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention, Parties that intend to use and / or produce DDT shall notify the Secretariat thereof and the Secretariat is required to maintain the DDT Register, which is available through the Stockholm Convention Website at http://www.pops.int/.

Under paragraph 6 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties is required, commencing at its first meeting and at least every three years thereafter, to evaluate the continued need for DDT in disease vector control;

Under paragraph 4 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention, each Party that uses DDT is required every three years to provide to the Secretariat and the World Health Organization information on the amount used, the conditions of such use and its relevance to the Party's disease management strategy in a format to be decided by the Conference of the Parties;
(ب) أن الفقرة 4 من الجزء الثاني من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية تنص علي أن يزود كل طرف يستخدم الـ دي. دي. تي الأمانة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية كل ثلاث سنوات، بمعلومات عن الكمية المستخدمة وظروف ذلك الاستخدام ومدى صلته باستراتيجية ذلك الطرف المتعلقة باستراتيجية إدارة مكافحة الأمراض وذلك في شكل يقرره مؤتمر الأطراف بالتشاور مع منظمة الصحة العالمية؛
