37. The scope of the global problem of uncleared land-mines is so enormous and its humanitarian consequences so devastating that it is only through the concerted efforts of concerned Member States, working in close cooperation with each other, that significant progress will be made on this issue.

95. The Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action foresees the assignment of human rights officers if and when necessary to regional offices of the United Nations with the purpose of disseminating information and offering training and other technical assistance in the field of human rights upon the request of concerned Member States.
٥٩ - يتوقع في إعلان وخطة عمل فيينا تعيين موظفين معنيين بحقوق الانسان متى كان ذلك ضروريا في المكاتب الاقليمية لﻷمم المتحدة بغية نشر المعلومات وتوفير المساعدة التدريبية وغيرهما من المساعدات التقنية في ميدان حقوق الانسان بناء على طلب الدول اﻷعضاء المعنية.

The Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action, adopted by the World Conference on Human Rights (part II, para. 7), foresees the assignment of human rights officers if and when necessary to regional offices of the United Nations with the purpose of disseminating information and offering training and other technical assistance in the field of human rights upon the request of concerned Member States.
