In this regard, the effort to streamline and consolidate a large number of data centres supporting duty stations of the Organization can produce not only significant efficiency gains and savings through economies of scale and a reduction in the number of data centres around the world, but would also result in a more reliable and cost-effective disaster recovery plan and business continuity operation.
