Towards this end, we should strive to fulfil the agreed target of 0.7 per cent of gross national product for official development assistance (ODA) and 0.15 per cent to the least developed countries as soon as possible and increase the share of funding for social development programmes commensurate with the scope and scale of activities required to achieve the objectives and goals of the Declaration on Social Development and Programme of Action.
