In the view of many delegates, investment policy reviews, which were initiated at this session of the Commission, represent a novel form of intergovernmental deliberations at UNCTAD, contributing to the design and dissemination of best practices in investment policy and in science, technology and innovation policy.
وكان من رأي كثير من المندوبين أن استعراضات سياسة الاستثمار التي بُدئ فيها في دورة اللجنة هذه تمثل شكلاً جديداً من أشكال المداولات الحكومية الدولية في الأونكتاد، يُسهم في تصميم ونشر أفضل الممارسات في مجال سياسة الاستثمار وفي مجال سياسة العلم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار.

(d) More attention needs to be given to making the outcome of intergovernmental deliberations more policy- and action-oriented, with a view to agreeing on implementable commitments whenever possible, in accordance with paragraph 57 of the Cartagena Commitment.
)د( يجب إيلاء مزيد من الاهتمام لجعل نتائج المداولات الحكومية الدولية أكثر توجها للسياسات وللعمل، بغية الموافقة على التزامات قابلة للتنفيذ كلما أمكن ذلك، طبقاً للفقرة ٧٥ من التزام كرتاخينا.

(d) More attention needed to be given to the Cartagena Commitment's call for making the outcomes of intergovernmental deliberations more policy and action-oriented, with a view to agreeing on implementable commitments whenever possible.
)د( ويجب ايلاء مزيد من الاهتمام للدعوة التي ينطوي عليها التزام كرتاخينا الى جعل نتائج المداولات الحكومية الدولية أكثر توجها للسياسات والعمل، وذلك بغية الموافقة على الالتزامات القابلة للتنفيذ كلما أمكن ذلك.

The Council further underlines the importance of intergovernmental deliberations taking forward the process in accordance with General Assembly resolution 66/255 and the imperative of mandating and deploying civilian expertise in compliance with relevant United Nations rules and procedures.
ويؤكد المجلس كذلك على أهمية أن تمضي المداولات الحكومية الدولية قدما بهذه العملية وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة 66/255 وضرورة تكليف ونشر الخبرات المدنية امتثالا لقواعد الأمم المتحدة وإجراءاتها المعتمدة في هذا الصدد.

2. The report takes into consideration the results of intergovernmental deliberations on trade and environment conducted in the World Trade Organization (WTO), in particular in the Committee on Trade and Environment (CTE), UNCTAD, the CSD and the OECD, as well as work conducted at UNEP.
٢ - ويهتم التقرير بمحصلة المداولات الحكومية الدولية المتعلقة بالتجارة والبيئة التي جرت في إطار منظمة التجارة العالمية، ولا سيما في اللجنة المعنية بالتجارة والبيئة، وفي اﻷونكتاد ولجنة التنمية المستدامة ومنظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي، كما يهتم باﻷعمال التي يضطلع بها في برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للبيئة.
