On 21 March 2005, one C-130 and one B-200 Turkish military aircraft coming from the FIR of Ankara entered the FIR of Nicosia and carried out a total of four violations of international air traffic regulations and the national airspace of Nicosia, flying over the occupied area of Mesaoria, before landing at the illegal airport of Tymbou, from where they departed on the same day towards the FIR of Ankara.

Upon instructions from my Government and further to my letter dated 11 July 2012 addressed to you, regarding the continuing abuses by Turkey of international air traffic regulations and the national airspace of the Republic of Cyprus (A/66/868-S/2012/536), I transmit herewith the recorded violations committed during the month of May 2012 (see annex).
بناء على تعليمات من حكومتي، وإلحاقا برسالتي الموجهة إليكم، في 11 تموز/ يوليه 2012، بشأن انتهاكات تركيا المتواصلة لقواعد الملاحة الجوية الدولية وللمجال الجوي الوطني لجمهورية قبرص (A/66/686-S/2012/536)، أحيل إليكم طيا الانتهاكات المسجلة التي ارتُكبت خلال شهر أيار/مايو 2012 (انظر المرفق).
