Invites the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance to update and expand the study on the issue of political platforms that promote or incite racial discrimination and to submit it to the General Assembly at its fifty-ninth session;

33. On 29 July 2006, following the Regional Conference of the Americas and in collaboration with the Office of the High Commissioner and the Government of Brazil, the Special Rapporteur organized an expert seminar on the issue of political platforms that incite racial discrimination.

Invites the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance to submit to the General Assembly the study on the issue of political platforms that promote or incite racial discrimination, as requested by the Commission on Human Rights in its resolution 2003/41,6 updated and expanded as appropriate;
14 - تدعو المقرر الخاص التابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعني بالأشكال المعاصرة للعنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكراهية الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب إلى أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة الدراسة المتعلقة بمسألة البرامج السياسية التي تدعو إلى التمييز العنصري أو تُحرّض عليه، مثلما طلبت لجنة حقوق الإنسان في قرارها 2003/41، وذلك بعد استكمالها وتوسيع نطاقها حسب الاقتضاء؛

18. The Special Rapporteur wishes to draw the attention of the Commission to the study on the question of political platforms that incite or encourage racial discrimination (A/59/330), which he submitted to the General Assembly at its fifty-ninth session, providing an overview of parties and movements worldwide whose strategy or objective is to incite racial hatred or xenophobia.
18- وفي هذا السياق، يود المقرر الخاص توجيه انتباه اللجنة إلى الدراسة المتعلقة بمسألة البرامج السياسية التي تدعو إلى التمييز العنصري أو تحض عليه (A/59/330)، التي قدمها إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين، والتي أحصى فيها الأحزاب والحركات الساعية في جميع أنحاء العالم إلى التحريض على الكراهية العرقية أو كره الأجانب.

At its fifty-eighth session, the General Assembly, inter alia, invited the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance to submit to the Assembly the study on the issue of political platforms that promoted or incited racial discrimination, as requested by the Commission in its resolution 2003/41 (resolution 58/159).
وفي الدورة الثامنة والخمسين، دعت الجمعية العامة في جملة أمور، المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق الإنسان المعني بالأشكال المعاصرة للعنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكراهية الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة دراسة عن مسألة البرامج السياسية التي تدعو إلى التمييز العنصري أو تحرض عليه، على النحو الذي طلبته اللجنة في قرارها 2003/41 (القرار 58/ 159).
