I have the honour to transmit herewith the text of the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

In addition, under the aegis of the United Nations a start was made in normalization of Relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Greece.
وبالاضافة الى ذلك، بدأ تحت رعاية اﻷمم المتحدة تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية مقدونيا وجمهورية قبرص.

Expressing its serious concern at the deterioration of Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Azerbaijani Republic and at the tensions between them,
وإذ يعرب عن قلقه البالغ إزاء تدهور العلاقات بين جمهورية أرمينيا والجمهورية اﻷذربيجانية وإزاء التوتر القائم بينهما،

" The Security Council expresses its serious concern at the deterioration of Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Azerbaijani Republic and at the tensions between them.
" يعرب مجلس اﻷمن عن قلقه الشديد إزاء تدهور العلاقات بين جمهورية أرمينيا وجمهورية أذربيجان والتوترات القائمة بينهما.

" Expressing its serious concern at the deterioration of Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Azerbaijani Republic and at the tensions between them,
" وإذ يعرب عن قلقه البالغ إزاء تدهور العلاقات بين جمهورية أرمينيا والجمهورية اﻷذربيجانية وإزاء التوتر القائم بينهما،

This course would certainly serve the interests of both countries and would properly reflect the high level reached in the development of Relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation.
وهذا اﻹجراء سيخدم بالتأكيد مصالح كلا البلدين ومن شأنه أن يعبر على النحو الملائم عن المستوى الرفيع الذي توصل اليه في تنمية العلاقات بين جمهورية ملدوفا والاتحاد الروسي.

7. Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Honduras and the international community
7 - بشأن تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية هندوراس والمجتمع الدولى

This is the case despite optimism that progress on this issue would follow the signing in August 1996 of the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

In Khartoum, under the mediation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, an Agreement on the settlement of disputes and the normalization of Relations between the Republic of Uganda and the Republic of Sudan was signed in September 1996.

Proceeding from the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia of 23 August 1996, by which they recognize one another as independent, sovereign and equal States within their respective internationally recognized borders,
انطلاقا من الاتفاق المتعلق بتطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية في ٢٣ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٦ والذي اعترف فيه كل منهما باﻵخر بوصفه دولة مستقلة ذات سيادة على قدم المساواة داخل حدود كل منهما المعترف بها دوليا،

24. The Government has called attention to provisions of the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia that provide for the return of possession of property or just and adequate compensation.
٢٤ - ووجهت الحكومة الانتباه إلى أحكام اتفاق تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية التي تنص على إعادة الممتلكات أو التعويض العادل والكافي.

9. The Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, signed on 23 August 1996, fulfils an essential precondition for the achievement of a peaceful settlement of the Prevlaka issue.
٩ - إن اتفاق تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية، الموقﱠع في ٣٢ آب/أغسطس ٦٩٩١، يفي بشرط مسبق أساسي لتحقيق تسوية سلمية لمسألة بريفلاكا.

It condemned the fact that effective measures had not so far been taken in that respect, and called upon the Government of Croatia to ensure the expeditious processing of all requests from refugees, underlining that the exercise of the right to return cannot be made conditional upon an agreement on the normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
وأدان المجلس حقيقة أنه لم يتم حتى اﻵن اتخاذ تدابير فعالة في هذا الصدد، وطلب إلى حكومة كرواتيا أن تتكفل بالبت السريع في جميع الطلبات التي ترد من اللاجئين، مؤكدا على أن ممارسة الحق في العودة لا يجوز أن تكون مشروطة بإبرام اتفاق بشأن تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية.

35. The Agreement on the Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, signed at Belgrade on 23 August, constitutes another significant step forward.
٣٥ - ويشكل اتفاق تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية، الذي جرى التوقيع عليه في بلغراد في ٢٣ آب/أغسطس، خطوة هامة أخرى إلى اﻷمام.

The presence of UNTAES has also significantly contributed to the normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and has played an important role in promoting wider regional stabilization, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
كما أسهم وجود اﻹدارة الانتقالية إسهاما كبيرا في تطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية، وأدى دورا هاما في العمل على توسيع نطاق الاستقرار الإقليمي، بما في ذلك في البوسنة والهرسك.

In this respect, I should like to emphasize that Croatia is fully committed to its obligation under Article 4 of the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (A/51/351-S/1996/744, annex).
وفي هذا الصدد، أود أن أؤكد أن كرواتيا تحترم تماما التزامها بموجب المادة ٤ من الاتفاق المتعلق بتطبيع العلاقات بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية )A/51/351-S/1996/744، المرفق(.

4. Urges the parties to abide by their mutual commitments and to implement fully the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia of 23 August 1996;
٤ - يحث الطرفيــن على احترام التزاماتهما المتبادلة وتنفيذ اتفاق تطبيع العلاقات المبرم بين جمهورية كرواتيا وجمهوريــة يوغوسلافيــا الاتحادــة في ٢٣ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٦ تنفيذا كاملا؛
