In that report it was stated that consultations on the Year would take place during the third session of the Preparatory Committee for the World Summit for Social Development, the thirty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women, the thirty-fourth session of the Commission for Social Development and the third session of the Commission on Sustainable Development.
