Restructuring of the conference structure of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific

1. Decides to approve the revision of the conference structure of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, including its thematic and sectoral priorities and subsidiary structure, to conform to the following pattern:

The most recent, Commission resolution 64/1 on restructuring of the conference structure of the Commission, further sharpened the focus of ESCAP's intergovernmental machinery in order to more effectively address key issues pertaining to inclusive and sustainable economic and social development in the Asian and Pacific region.
