In 2005, the proportion of country offices undertaking at least 75 per cent of the field visit monitoring plan was 69 per cent compared to 61 per cent in 2004.

1. The overall objectives of the field visit are:

أحاط علما بالتقرير المتعلق بالزيارة الميدانية التي قام بها المجلس التنفيذي للبرنامج الإنمائي وصندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان ومكتب خدمات المشاريع، إلى طاجيكستان، في الفترة من 24 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2013 (DP-FPA/2014/CRP.1).

Commenting on the joint segment of the field visit, several participants said that it had been useful and raised a number of questions about the terms of reference for future field visits, including strengthening the joint segments, possible joint follow-up measures and greater involvement of the Board in selecting the countries to be visited.

One delegation commended UNDP and the United Nations country team for the excellent preparations and coordination of the field visit, and for the excellent integration of the work of UNDP in the national development plan.
132- واثنى أحد الوفود على برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي وفريق الأمم المتحدة القطري للأعمال التحضيرية الممتازة للزيارة الميدانية وتنسيقها، وعلى الإدراج الممتاز لأعمال برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في خطة التنمية الوطنية.

2. The objective of the field visit was to gain a first-hand understanding of UNICEF work at the country level. More specifically, the visit aimed at demonstrating concrete examples of UNICEF cooperation with the Government and with other partners, including the United Nations country team.
