The persecution and harassment of the Greek minority, the curtailment of the educational, cultural and religious rights of its members, and the gross attempts of the Government of Albania to implicate Greece in the above-mentioned trial, are undermining the efforts of the Greek side to promote relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
كما أن اضطهاد اﻷقلية اليونانية ومضايقتها، وتقليص حقوق أفرادها التعليمية والثقافية والدينية، وما تقوم به حكومة ألبانيا من محاولات فاضحة للزج باليونان في المحاكمة المذكورة أعلاه، كل ذلك يسهم في تقويض الجهود التي يبذلها الجانب اليوناني لتعزيز علاقات الصداقة والتعاون بين البلدين.

" According to the information transmitted, although the Albanian Government has recognized the right of the Greek minority to practise its Orthodox religion, no progress has been made in returning the religious property confiscated from the Greek community under the former regime.
" تفيد المعلومات الواردة بأنه على الرغم من اعتراف الحكومة اﻷلبانية بحق اﻷقلية اليونانية في ممارسة دينها اﻷورثوذكسي، لم يُحقَق أي تقدم في إعادة الممتلكات الدينية التي صادرها النظام السابق من الجالية اليونانية.

But the unacceptable treatment of the Greek minority has been highlighted in many reports of international bodies, very recently by the European Parliament, which, in a resolution adopted on 14 July 1993, called upon the Albanian Government to respect the cultural and religious rights of the Greek minority in Albania.
ولكن المعاملة غير المقبولة لﻷقلية اليونانية ركز عليها الانتباه في العديد من تقارير الهيئات الدولية، وتأكدت مؤخرا في البرلمان اﻷوروبي الذي اعتمد بتاريخ ١٤ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٣ قرارا يطلب فيه مــن الحكومــة اﻷلبانية أن تحترم الحقوق الثقافية والدينية لﻷقلية اليونانية في البانيا.
