To perform its functions, the Conference must acquire knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and of the difficulties they have encountered in doing so, through information provided by them (art. 63, para. 5).

5. For the purpose of paragraph 4 of this article, the Conference of the States Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the States Parties.

4- وبغية تحقيق تلك الأهداف المحددة، ينبغي أن يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والصعوبات التي تواجهها أثناء القيام بذلك من خلال المعلومات التي تقدّمها (الفقرة 4 من المادة 32).

6. For the purpose of paragraphs 4 (c) and (e) of this article, the Conference of the Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the Parties.
6- لأغراض الفقرتين الفرعيتين 4 (ج) و(ﻫ) من هذه المادة، يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف تنفيذا لهذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها أثناء القيام بذلك، من خلال معلومات تقدمها الدول الأطراف، ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية.()

2. The Conference of the Parties shall acquire, through the subsidiary body, the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by States Parties or by other entities, including public international organizations and civil society.
2- يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف، من خلال الهيئة الفرعية، على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف تنفيذا لهذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها أثناء القيام بذلك، من خلال معلومات تقدمها الدول الأطراف أو هيئات أخرى، بما فيها المنظمات الدولية العمومية والمجتمع المدني.()

4. For the purpose of paragraphs 3 (d) and (e) of this article, the Conference of the Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the Parties.
4- لأغراض الفقرتين الفرعيتين 3 (د) و(ﻫ) من هذه المادة، يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها أثناء القيام بذلك، من خلال المعلومات المقدمة من الدول الأطراف، ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية.

4. In order to achieve those specific objectives, the Conference of the Parties is to acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them (art. 32, para. 4).
4- ومن أجل تحقيق تلك الأهداف المحدّدة، يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي اتخذتها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والصعوبات التي واجهتها أثناء قيامها بذلك، من خلال معلومات مقدّمة من الدول الأطراف (الفقرة 4 من المادة 32).

4. In order to achieve those specific objectives, the Conference of the Parties is to acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them (art. 32, para. 4).
4- ومن أجل تحقيق الأهداف المذكورة، يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي اتخذتها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والصعوبات التي واجهتها أثناء قيامها بذلك، من خلال معلومات مقدّمة من الدول الأطراف (الفقرة 4 من المادة 32).

Together with each of the coordinators, it had conducted an evaluation of the Guide to National Reporting and the progress made in implementing Protocol V, and also of the measures taken by States to fulfil their obligations to remove explosive remnants of war, particularly in implementation of article 4.
وأشارت إلى أن الوحدة أجرت من جهة، مع كل منسق من المنسقين المعنيين، تقييماً بشأن دليل تقديم التقارير الوطنية والتقدم في تنفيذ أحكام البروتوكول الخامس، كما أجرت من جهة أخرى تقييماً للتدابير التي اتخذتها الدول في سبيل الوفاء بالتزاماتها بإزالة مخلفات الحرب من المتفجرات، ولا سيما لتطبيق أحكام المادة 4.
