(1) The following statement was made at the time of signature of the Protocol and reaffirmed upon ratification:

To urge all Parties that already operate licensing systems for ozone-depleting substances to ensure that they are structured in accordance with Article 4B of the Protocol and that they are implemented and enforced effectively;
2 - تحث جميع الأطراف التي لها نظم تراخيص مطبقة حالياً للمواد المستنفدة للأوزون على ضمان وضع هياكل لهذه النظم وفقاً للمادة 4 باء من البروتوكول وعلى تنفيذها وإنفاذها بفاعلية؛

The communication had included the Party's ozone-depleting substance data submission for the year 2007 under Article 7 of the Protocol and an update on its implementation of metered-dose inhaler projects.

The Secretariat also identified those Articles of the Protocol and the decisions of the Parties which appeared to provide guidance on whether those deviations were consistent with the Protocol's control measures.
كما حددت الأمانة تلك المواد من البروتوكول ومقررات الأطراف التي يبدو أنها تقدم توجيهاً بشأن ما إن كانت تلك الانحرافات تتسق مع تدابير الرقابة الواردة في البروتوكول.

Other Articles of the Protocol and decisions of the Parties make provision for the deduction of feedstock use and destruction, and also allow additional production to meet the basic domestic needs of developing countries.

وقد صدَّقت نيجيريا أيضاً على البروتوكول الملحق بالميثاق الأفريقي بشأن حقوق المرأة في أفريقيا، وفي نفس الوقت تنتعش الدعوة من أجل استيعاب البروتوكول واتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة، وهناك رغبة سياسية من أجل إصدار هذا المشروع في شكل قانون.

The Committee identified general issues of compliance that need due attention in order to ensure a good start to effective implementation of the provisions of the Protocol and the achievement of its objective.
وحددت اللجنة مسائل عامة متصلة بالامتثال تحتاج إلى إيلاء الاهتمام الواجب لها بغية ضمان بداية جديدة لتنفيذ فعال لأحكام البروتوكول وتحقيق هدفه المنشود.

The experts were encouraged to convey their views on efforts at strengthening the implementation of the Protocol and of promoting its universality.
