She noted that to date four Article 5 Parties had taken advantage of the provisions of decision XVII/13 and that the deferral granted by the decision was due to expire at the end of 2007.

1. Decides to continue the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change within the framework of the provisions of decision 2/CP.11, addressing the knowledge needs arising from, inter alia, the Cancun Adaptation Framework and other relevant workstreams and bodies under the Convention and the knowledge needs identified by Parties;
1- يقرر مواصلة برنامج عمل نيروبي المتعلق بتأثيرات تغير المناخ والقابلية للتأثر به والتكيف معه في إطار أحكام المقرر 2/م أ-11، الذي يتناول الاحتياجات المعرفية الناشئة في جملة أمور من إطار كانكون المتعلق بالتكيف وغيره من مسارات العمل والهيئات المنشأة بموجب الاتفاقية والاحتياجات المعرفية التي حددتها الأطراف؛

3. The Conference of the Parties (COP), at its nineteenth session, decided to continue the NWP within the framework of the provisions of decision 2/CP.11, addressing the knowledge needs arising from, inter alia, the Cancun Adaptation Framework and other relevant workstreams and bodies under the Convention and the knowledge needs identified by Parties.
