For this reason, Thailand intends to ratify ILO Convention No. 87 on Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organize and No. 98 on Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining.

It protects the exercise of the Right to Organize, ensures its independence, and incorporates the provisions of Convention No. 98 on the right to organize and collective bargaining.

She commented on the issue of registration of unions, and noted that section 5 of the Industrial and Labour Relations Act, Chapter 269, of the Laws of Zambia entrenches the fundamental provisions of ILO Convention No. 89 on freedom of association and protection of the Right to Organize.
وعلّقت على مسألة تسجيل النقابات وأشارت إلى أن المادة 5 من قانون العلاقات الصناعية وعلاقات العمل في الفصل 269 من قوانين زامبيا يرسخ الأحكام الأساسية لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 89 بشأن الحرية النقابية وحماية حق التنظيم.

It also underlined the importance in extractive industries of the Right to Organize and collective bargaining, which enables workers to get a fair share of the benefits.
كما شدد الخبراء على الأهمية التي يتسم بها، في سياق الصناعات الاستخراجية، الحق في التنظيم والتفاوض الجماعي الذي يمكِّن العمال من الحصول على حصة منصِفة من الفوائد.

155. The Committee regrets the State party's prohibition of the Right to Organize and join independent trade unions in the State party.
155- وتأسف اللجنة لقيام الدولة الطرف بحظر حق تنظيم اتحادات العمال المستقلة والانضمام إليها في الدولة الطرف.

48. Further, to an earlier comment of the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations of the International Labour Organization concerning the application of Convention No. 87 (Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organize Convention) concerning relations between CTC and the Communist Party, and the latter's alleged interference in the election of trade union leaders, the Committee stated:
٤٨ - وفيما يختص بتعليق سبق أن أبدته لجنة الخبراء المعنية بتطبيق الاتفاقيات والتوصيات المنبثقة عن منظمة العمل الدولية، بشأن تطبيق الاتفاقية رقم ٨٧ )الحرية النقابية وحماية حق تكوين النقابات العمالية(، على العلاقات بين اتحاد العمال الكوبيين والحزب الشيوعي وتدخل هذا الحزب في انتخابات القادة النقابيين، أكدت اللجنة ما يلي:

28. Recently, serious violations of the Right to Organize, accompanied by death threats, wrongful dismissal and persecution of union leaders and members, were confirmed, for which the municipal mayors of Cuilapa in Santa Rosa, Tecpán in Chimaltenango, La Gomera in Escuintla and Guastatoya in El Progreso were responsible.
