At its first plenary meeting, on 13 September 2011, the Meeting elected by acclamation Adnan Mansour, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon, assisted by Najla Riachi Assaker, Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the United Nations in Geneva, as President of the Second Meeting of States Parties to the Convention.
وأقرّ الاجتماع بالتزكية في جلسته العامة الأولى، المعقودة في 13 أيلول/سبتمبر 2011، تعيين السيد عدنان منصور، وزير الخارجية والمغتربين في لبنان رئيساً للاجتماع الثاني للدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية، تعاونه في ذلك نجلا رياشي عساكر، الممثلة الدائمة للبنان لدى الأمم المتحدة في جنيف.

The President of the Third Meeting of States Parties continued consultations on a funding model and the subsequent establishment of the Implementation Support Unit, building on the work undertaken by the President of the Second Meeting of States Parties.
