(5) The Committee also takes note of the State party's position with regard to the continued necessity of the state of emergency, which has been in force since 1962, but remains concerned that the state of emergency may affect the full enjoyment of certain rights and freedoms provided for under the Convention.
(5) وتحيط اللجنة علماً أيضاً بموقف الدولة الطرف فيما يتعلق بضرورة استمرار حالة الطوارئ المفروضة منذ عام 1962، غير أنها لا تزال تشعر بالقلق لأن حالة الطوارئ يمكن أن تؤثر في التمتع الكامل ببعض الحقوق والحريات المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية.

12. Mr. Flinterman requested clarification of the State party's position on ratification of the Optional Protocol and more detailed information on the domestic incorporation, status and dissemination of the Convention.
