The General Assembly, in its resolution 52/182 of 18 December 1997, welcomed the convening of a special high-level mid-term review meeting in 1998, which would contribute to the preparations of the tenth session of the Conference, to be held in Bangkok in the year 2000.

2. The formal opening ceremony of the tenth session of the Conference will commence at 10 a.m. on Monday, 1 December 2003, in the Plenary Hall (Conference Room A), which is on the second floor of the ACV.
