ECA, in collaboration with the regional economic communities and the African Union, is actively canvassing the implementation of the Yamoussoukro Decision on air transport liberalization in Africa.

ECA, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the Central African Economic and Monetary Community organized the Third Meeting of the Coordination and Monitoring Committee for the Implementation of the Yamoussoukro Decision on the Liberalization of Air Transport in West and Central Africa in Libreville, Gabon, from 29 November to 2 December 2004.
