The United Nations, its bodies, especially the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and specialized agencies, including at the country level, and States, shall promote respect for and full application of the provisions of this Declaration and follow-up the effectiveness of this Declaration.

It is therefore with disappointment that we find ourselves having to vote against the adoption of this Declaration as drafted.
ومن ثم خيبة الأمل في أن نجد أنفسنا مضطرين إلى التصويت ضد اعتماد هذا الإعلان بصيغته الحالية.

The innovative aspect of this Declaration is that it asserts the need for affirmative action and at the same time recognizes the right to be different.

My Government expresses the hope that the adoption of this Declaration by the General Assembly will signal an end to social and official tolerance of such violence.
وتعـــرب حكومـــة بــــلادي عـن اﻷمل في أن يكون اعتماد الجمعية العامة لهذا الاعلان مؤشرا بنهاية التعاون الاجتماعي والرسمي مع هذا النوع من العنف.

In complete disregard of this Declaration and of ongoing efforts to secure a ceasefire, in addition to the invasion of Ramallah, Israeli occupying forces have invaded other Palestinian cities throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
وقد قامت القوات الإسرائيلية المحتلة إلى جانب اقتحامها لمدينة رام الله، باقتحام مدن فلسطينية أخرى في جميع أنحاء الأراضي المحتلة، ضاربة عرض الحائط بذلك الإعلان وبما يبذل من جهود حثيثة لتحقيق وقف لإطلاق النار.
