(f) Take the following steps, bearing in mind the fundamental role of Urban and Rural Development councils in ensuring, promoting and guaranteeing the people's participation in the identification of local priorities, the definition of public projects and programmes and the integration of national policy into urban and rural development:
)و( اتخاذ التدابير التالية، بالنظر إلى الدور الرئيسي لمجالس التنمية الحضرية والريفية في كفالة وتعزيز وضمان مشاركة السكان في تحديد اﻷولويات المحلية والمشاريع والبرامج العامة، وفي تكامل السياسة الوطنية للتنمية الحضرية والريفية:

(f) To promote residential social inclusion of all members of society at the planning stage of Urban and Rural Development schemes and other human settlements, while renewing neglected areas of public housing, so as to counter social exclusion and marginalization;
(و) أن تشجع الاندماج الاجتماعي السكني لجميع أفراد المجتمع في مرحلة الإعداد لوضع مخططات التنمية الحضرية والريفية وسائر المستوطنات البشرية، مع تجديد مناطق المساكن الشعبية المهملة، من أجل التصدي للاستبعاد والتهميش الاجتماعيين؛

36. The System of Urban and Rural Development Councils is one of the forums which have been created or strengthened strategically by reforming the Urban and Rural Development Council Act (Legislative Decree 11-2002), the Municipal Code (Legislative Decree 12-2002) and the General Decentralization Act (Legislative Decree 14-2002).
