In paragraph 13 of resolution 68/254, the General Assembly stressed the importance of good management practices in promoting a positive and transparent work environment in order to address the underlying factors that give rise to disputes in the workplace and requested the Secretary-General to report on efforts made in this regard at the main part of its sixty-ninth session.
