The present report provides information on the status of implementation of paragraph 3 of Human Rights Council resolution 15/1 on follow-up to the report of the independent international fact-finding mission on the incident of the humanitarian flotilla.

The present addendum provides information received from Member States pursuant to paragraph 8 of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on the implementation of paragraph 3 of Human Rights Council resolution 15/1 on follow-up to the report of the independent international fact-finding mission on the incident of the humanitarian flotilla (A/HRC/16/73).

4. In a submission to OHCHR, the Permanent Mission of Turkey emphasized that the conclusions contained in the report of the independent international fact-finding mission on the incident of the humanitarian flotilla (A/HRC/15/21) needed to be implemented promptly.
4- وشدّدت البعثة الدائمة لتركيا، في رسالة موجهة إلى المفوضية السامية، على أن الاستنتاجات الواردة في تقرير البعثة الدولية المستقلة لتقصي الحقائق في حادثة أسطول الإغاثة الإنسانية (A/HRC/15/21) ينبغي أن تُنفَّذ بصورة عاجلة.

6. Furthermore, the report of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on the incident of the humanitarian flotilla found that the violence used by the Israel Defence Forces when the flotilla was attacked was " not only disproportionate but demonstrated levels of totally unnecessary and incredible violence " as well involving " an unacceptable level of brutality " .
