This morning we had an interesting debate on the Rationalization of the work and the reform of the agenda of this Committee, and there was some discussion of the preliminary draft resolution that had been introduced informally to the Committee.

1. The Chairman drew the Committee's attention to rule 92 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly concerning elections by secret ballot and to paragraph 16 of Assembly decision 34/401 on the Rationalization of the procedures and organization of the General Assembly.
