Bearing in mind the indivisibility of all human rights, the Committee encourages the State party to consider ratifying those international human rights treaties which it has not yet ratified, in particular treaties the provisions of which have a direct bearing on the subject of racial discrimination.

14. At its 1070th meeting, held on 27 February 1995, the Committee decided to conduct a general debate on the subject of racial discrimination.
١٤ - وقررت اللجنة في جلستها ١٠٧٠ المعقودة في ٢٧ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٥ أن تجري مناقشة عامة في موضوع التمييز العنصري.

(21) Bearing in mind the indivisible nature of all human rights, the Committee encourages the State party to consider ratifying those international human rights treaties to which it is not already a party, particularly those whose provisions have a direct bearing on the subject of racial discrimination, such as the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (1990).
21) وإذا تضع اللجنة في اعتبارها أنّ حقوق الإنسان كل لا يتجزأ، فهي تشجع الدولة الطرف على النظر في التصديق على المعاهدات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان التي لم تنضم إليها بعد، لا سيما تلك التي ترتبط أحكامها ارتباطاً مباشراً بمسألة التمييز العنصري مثل الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية حقوق جميع العمال المهاجرين وأفراد أسرهم (1990).

91. Following the General Assembly resolution 64/169 of 18 December 2009, proclaiming the year beginning on 1 January 2011 the International Year for People of African Descent, the Committee at its seventy-eighth session held a thematic discussion on the subject of racial discrimination against people of African descent.
91- عقب صدور قرار الجمعية العامة 64/169 المؤرخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2009، الذي أعلنت فيه الجمعية العامة السنة التي تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2011 السنة الدولية للسكان المنحدرين من أصل أفريقي، عقدت اللجنة، في دورتها الثامنة والسبعين، مناقشة مواضيعية حول موضوع التمييز العنصري ضد السكان المنحدرين من أصل أفريقي.
