)٤( تحث اللجنة الخاصة الوكالات المتخصصة وسائر منظمات ومؤسسات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة على أن تساعد في التعجيل في إحراز التقدم في جميع قطاعات الحياة الوطنية لﻷقاليم الصغيرة، ولا سيما في تنمية اقتصاداتها.

(5) The Special Committee emphasizes the importance of coordination at the country, regional and headquarters levels of the programmes of assistance provided by the specialized agencies and other organizations and institutions of the United Nations system to the peoples of Non-Self-Governing Territories.
)٥( تؤكد اللجنة الخاصة على أهمية التنسيق، على الصعيد القطري واﻹقليمي وصعيد المقر، بين برامج المساعدة التي تقدمها الوكالات المتخصصة وسائر منظمات ومؤسسات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة إلى شعوب اﻷقاليم المستعمرة.

The clear distribution of work among the organizations and institutions of the United Nations system in the field was essential, and would make it possible to ensure the proper coordination and effectiveness of their work while also helping to avoid duplication and lack of coordination.

(6) The Special Committee reiterates its conviction that consultations with the specialized agencies and other organizations and institutions of the United Nations system are an appropriate means for further strengthening the role of those organizations in the process of decolonization with regard to the aims and objectives of the Declaration, as well as for the Committee to benefit from their experience in that process.
