Ordinary criminal offences committed by military personnel should be tried in ordinary courts, unless regular courts are unable to exercise jurisdiction owing to the particular circumstances in which the crime was committed (i.e. exclusively in cases of crimes committed outside the territory of the State).

29. The Committee is concerned at reports of adverse effects of operations by transnational corporations registered in the State party but conducted outside the territory of the State party that affect the rights of indigenous peoples to land, health, environment and an adequate standard of living.
29- وتُعرب اللجنة عن قلقها إزاء تقارير تفيد عن آثار سلبية ناجمة عن عمليات تنفذها خارج الدولة الطرف شركات عبر وطنية مسجلة في الدولة الطرف وتؤثر في حقوق الشعوب الأصلية في امتلاك الأراضي، وفي الرعاية الصحية والبيئة والمستوى المعيشي المناسب.
